Do I use water or cleaning solution?
To clean walls or floors, mix a small amount of detergent or cleaning solution with clean, warm or hot water. Important: Follow floor manufacturer's recommendations.
Should I use the mop pad wet or dry?
You can use the mop dry, but we recommend that you use water or your favorite cleaning solution to wet the mop pad. This will give the pad better holding power.
How wet should the pad be?
After wetting the pad with cleaning solution, we recommend that you wring out the excess water by rolling the pad into a 4" wide roll.
What's the best way to put the pad onto the holder?
Toss the wet pad onto the floor first and then place the holder onto the pad. The scrubbing motion of the holder on the pad will cause the pad to adhere to the holder.
What's the best mopping technique?
Clean the floor or wall by using a figure 8 mopping technique.
Can I use both sides of the pad?
Both sides of the microfiber mop pad have the same cleaning power. Just reverse and continue your mission. Rinse and repeat as often as needed.
Can I put my mop pad in the washing machine?
Absolutely! Your Mission™ Mop pad is designed so you can either hand wash or machine wash. It's our way to help you save the planet!
Can I use fabric softener?
Do not use fabric softener. It will not ruin your mop, but it will coat and clog the microfiber strands causing the pad to be less effective in cleaning.
How do I clean the holder?
Each pad comes with a comb to clean the holder. Over time, debris and fibers from the mop pad will build up on the black strips. Hold your comb at a 90º angle to the black strips. Use short quick brush strokes to loosen and remove build up.

How long will the pad last?
It varies depending in individual use.
What is microfiber?
Microfiber is a blend of microscopic polyester and polyamide fibers which are split in such a way as to create microscopic "hooks" which act as claws that scrape up and hold dust, dirt, and grime. They can also absorb up to 7 times their weight in water.
Why microfiber?
Cleaning with microfiber is fast, easy and environmentally friendly. With microfiber products you rarely need to use chemicals. It is sometimes described as having a magnetic attraction to dirt and dust.

Can I use the mop more that once between launderings? It depends on your mission. Light cleanings only require a hand washing. Tough jobs will require your Mission™ Mop pad to be washed in your washing machine.
My pad won't stick to the head of the mop.
Make sure the pad is damp. Place the pad on the floor and place the mop head firmly onto the pad. As you wash with the pad it will stick to the black strips on the mop head.
Can I use Bleach to wash my mop pad?
Chlorine bleach can be used with care. Chlorine bleach will break down any fibers over time.
